As glorious as the fashion industry appears to be, there are a lot of hidden truths that sit underneath the mask of fashion shows and runway models. Fast fashion is becoming an increasingly prevalent problem in today’s society, and using techniques such as cubomania and mixed media, I plan to create a collage that sheds light on the issues of increased carbon emissions, pollution of water, overfilling of landfills, and unethical treatment of workers. “Unraveling Fashion” is about taking a deeper look into your closet and understanding the true cost of the clothing that you buy.
